My 92-year-old Grandpa making a birthday card for my 93-year-old Grandma!

All of his genes are on point to be honest. He's got an amazing voice, used to be a radio DJ and a baseball announcer. Also WW2 and Korean War vet. He's an incredible writer and orator. He's really an amazing man with a lifetime of incredible stories.

Damn, you should hope you get his hair genetics. That boi ain't bald at all

So adorable... They are very lucky to enjoy love. Something you don't see everyday or believe in anymore.

Well... He is 92.

You are lucky to have him :)

Hmm I hope he lives a healthy life :)

You know what they say; Inside of every 92-year old man is a kindergartner.

So young and fragile

I can't handle this

Oh man, this is wonderful. I hope my own marriage will be this lovey dovey. Hope your grandma and grandpa live long and healthy lives.

Hey fellas, pro tip: Make cards for your lady and pick flowers instead of buying them.

I've been dating my gf for close to 4 years now and have never bought her a single card. I have absolutely no artistic ability, but I can find some pretty good clipart and memes online to make a funny, yet sincere card. It takes about 15 minutes of my time and she has over a dozen cards I have made at this point.

Same goes with flowers. They could be weeds from the side of the road, but the fact that you took the time to pick them for her shows you were thinking about her, not just going through the motions.

My grandfather always said, "You pick flowers when you are in love, you buy flowers when you are in trouble."

So is Grandma

You know what they say; Inside of every man is a kindergartner.

FTFY

Let me guess, nobody to take him to the drug store to buy a card? Haha. J/k

Record them. If only for the family archives. This is something my family started far too late, and we're regretting not having started when more of my great grandparents were around.

Nothing against grandmother, she's just 99, and her stories tend to trail.

the sentiment is beautiful.

gotta say though, green text on a yellow background is not the most beautiful color palette he could have gone with.

My heart exploded. I'm suing OP for damages.

That's awesome. I hope we all find someone who we still love in our 90s.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

interesting guy. Maybe he can do an AMA.

There's always one... 😂

This is so sweet. Happy Birthday to your grandma. Your grandfather is amazing.

Gold Digger! Going after those older ladies. Smh

I'm in my mid 30's. My wife and I make each other birthday and Valentine cards, and have done since we started exchanging them. We have a toddler now, and he's in on it too. I 100% recommend this to anyone in a relationship - a card made by someone you love is so much more meaningful than one they chose from a shop.

It started the first time I went to buy a Valentine card and felt embarrassed that I was going to use an image and message that someone else had picked to describe how I felt. I made my own then, and we haven't bought a card for each other since.

Don't feel too bad, my father set a record in my family when he turned 60. (He made it to his 80's but it was a pretty miserable health situation after the first heart attack at 60.)

Lucky me I got the bad genetics from both sides it seems. I'm aiming for 60.

Okay, I laughed.

My grandpa and his brother recorded a video years back of them just telling stories. His brother died I think over a decade ago now, but both had no end of incredible stories and experiences. Unfortunately, nobody in the family has the youtube link, and their names are Bruce and Wayne. So trying to find the video on YouTube is pretty silly, because all the results are batman.

Most of us aren't going to make it to our 90's.
