I waded through chest-high water to get back to our house after the August 2016 in Louisiana fully expecting to find two dead guinea pigs and two dead cats. All of them miraculously survived. They were scared shitless, but were fine.
I know EXACTLY what this guy is experiencing. Guilt at leaving them, sadness over the losses, and utter relief at the surviving animals.
Didnt expect to see those goats strung up all over the fence after he pets his horse
If I recall correctly I think a broken leg on a horse is practically a death sentence for them :(
That pig is so happy to see him.
Horses have heavy bodies and delicate leg bones. They tend to shatter instead of having a clean break. Additionally, horses stand the majority of the time and startle easily. Breaks are often reinjured or heal incorrectly and cause long term pain and disability. Depending on the break, euthanasia is the kinder option.
He lost several goats, cows etc. but they did find a few more baby goats and horses.
"Some of" :(
DID HE FIND THE OTHER GOATS ? I NEED TO KNOW
Stupid question, but why is that? I used to hear it when I was younger, but I always thought it was for race horses only. I'm glad the other ones were okay.
