Leia & Han Cosplay (The Force Awakens)

Leia & Han Cosplay (The Force Awakens)

The guy looks a lot like Mark Hamill now too

"I love your cosplay!"

"I know."

To me he looks like the combination of Luke and the antagonist of No Country For Old Men

he looks more like Luke tbh

These must be some pretty damn cool parents (or grandparents) to have.

They couldn't cosplay them because the venue doesn't allow smoking.

Antoin Chigur

Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru?

Yeah but Luke and Leia for married couples might be a bit awkward :)

We'll probably see more and more stuff like this as people from that era get older.

game of thrones edition

Sick burn.

This is literally the cutest thing ever. Goals

He looks like he'd be able to pull off a very convincing Dr. Alan Grant, actually.

Fixing his own broken arm was so metal in that flick.

“Will you help me?”

Luke and Mon Monthma cosplay as Han and Leia.

To the bone.

the scene in the drug store, lighting the car outside on fire first... amazing scene

There was an amazing older Spock at DragonCon this year.

“Yes. Anything.”

I would love to see an older Spock and Kirk.

No light saber hole, 1/10.

Right?

All I can picture is some elderly widow-Leia still crushing on her brother because of how they grew up apart and Luke is more than happy to play the part and wear ol' Han's old clothes.

What is he, like, 8 feet tall?

"Call it"

Sugar?

"Friendo"

The lady looks like Micheal Cera's lost grandmother.

These two were probably crazy attractive back in the day

That's weird. You're weird. . . . . Upvoted.

Burned to the bone. B-b-b-burned. Burned to the bone!

guitar riff

Oh my gosh this is so cute. I strive to be this fantastic when I’m older.

That's one of the creepiest little bits. Like, he has no clue what normal people say to each other or something. Or he's doing it on purpose to creep the guy out? Genius script writing (and great acting)

They call him Luke “Sisterfucker” Skywalker.

the best edition

Ambassador Spock.

To you?

as a kid their dead burnt bodies really affected me.

Lack of trigger discipline.

Something I didn't realize until now is how TFA opened up cosplay for older folks too. Like people who weren't exactly young when the first trilogy was out but fell in love with the universe. Sadly I don't remember anything older folks could be in the prequel trilogy. But TFA made things easier for the fan dad or grandad.

well uh... there you go. - dr malcolm

What a couple of scruffy lookin nerfherders. Forreal tho they look badass

My wife does a really impressive Jocasta Nu.

I didn't want to shave my entire beard so I did Agent Kallus, but I'm planning a Krennic for next year.

That’s one of the things I liked about Game of Thrones. There were kickbutt characters of all ages. You can name cool chatacters from any decade, single digits to 60+ (ex. Lady Olenna, the Onion Knight, Mormont Sr. and Jr.).

It doesn’t glorify youth. It displays the strengths and beauty from each era of life.

Someone needs to cosplay as Old Han with Kylo's lightsaber sticking through him.

This just makes me realize and wish we had more older characters in sci-fi/fantasy to draw from. There are so little of them. You have Obi-Wan, Palpatine, Gandalf, Saruman and who else.....Doc Brown, maybe? General Organa is the only older woman character that I can think of. I would love to see more of them. Not being one dimension mentors, only there for the younger characters. But being characters of their own.

I can see her pulling off Mon Mothma.

They are! My in-laws. They’ve been cosplaying along with my family for several years now.

it's a Leia cosplay, not a Carrie Fisher cosplay

also, rude

Relevant.

Javier Bardem

Kinda looks like Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files.

This can't be real, is it?

I mean it exists in physical space but more than sure it's not a real product.

Although typically the one I see isn't in skeleton form, it's just burned bits in the plastic bubble.

Still funny.

Apparently you can't do that in real life though

Let’s just say the carbonite wasn’t the only thing getting hard that night.

Honestly I'm just impressed how close you got to spelling Chigurh right, because I know I would have fucked it up badly.

to me he looks like a leprechaun to me

Having watched The Force Awakens: A Bad Lip Reading...eerie.

The kinky sex later that night...

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Is that a Tem in the background?

who all seen the leprechaun say yeah!!

Why’s Michael Cera dressed as Leia?
