Just got this picture from my dad.

Just got this picture from my dad.
It's always exciting to open messages from my dad with dog pictures!

Edit: This is one of my goofy favorites, from my mum!

And here's a few more, not so goofy but since people were asking!

And for people asking about breed, he's a hunting breed, Norwegian Black Elkhound. Or, at least 7/8 parts with the last part being Norwegian Buhund, which is like a white elkhound.

Since everyone compliments my dad, here they are together! Truly a team.

It always amazes me that some dogs are totally ok with being dressed up and put in poses like these. Mine won't let me put anything on her.

Mine has the shortest fur ever, is constantly cold during the winter, but still refuses to wear coats when we go outside. Whenever we dress him, he goes into this weird squat pose and refuses to walk. Then people see him shivering and look at me like I'm a monster for making him go outside naked -_-

Your dad is awesome.

Yes my dad is the same.

Since 8 weeks old I think? He turned 2 in october :)

I'm sure he'd say the same about you :) I'll let him know!

That's adorable. Has he had him/her for a while?

He morphed into a dog!

Uhmmm can you please not do this with my heart. 😀

That cat and our old dog was inseparable, and I thiiink she's growing on him as well :) They appear in more and more shots together these days.

You have to start when they're a puppy, and you have to be consistent. My dad's dachshunds wouldn't DREAM of letting me put something on them. But MY dachshund has a full wardrobe and gets excited when I tell him it's time to get dressed (he particularly struts like he's the shit when he's wearing his parka). As with any animal, it's just a matter of how you raise them.

You should really have your dad put on a jacket before he leaves the house. Winter is nothing to be trifled with.

I'm... sorry? <3

So, would it be weird to ask you to post more pictures? His face makes me happy😊

I think thats a dog.

They should go on a date! On a more serious note, you have no idea how glad I am that our dog doesn't have opposable thumbs.

Your pupper knows he's fabulous.

Norwegian?

He looks overjoyed... the cutest expression an animal can emote.

Speaking from experience, it's wise to put on clothes before going out, since you're isolating the heat from indoors between your clothes and body. Dressing up outdoors when already cold will isolate the cold, and takes longer for your body to heat up (the air).

Wow, am I your dad? I can't help but notice a similarity in our pets... http://i.imgur.com/eXzuFGP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/jDqKjsx.jpg

bring it with you outside and put it om him there

MMMMMSALTPINNER!

Actually, when you mention it...

Wow. The shirt fits him/her perfectly! So adorable

*dog and cat pictures

Sure do! He's a Black Norwegian Elkhound! Or, seven parts at least. They say one part is Norwegian Buhund!

Well the text sure is.

Yes, but "dressing in" the cold, as we'd say, your body needs to work harder to heat that cold air than it would that already warm indoors air. That's what we learned in the military and even as a child here where winters are fairly cold.

He's got a few bitches around, but he never turns down love!

And it's damn contagious. I find myself unable to not smile looking at this picture!

Oh, absolutely. He's a cream-colored weeniedog at that. He 100% knows he's the most fab kid on the block.

Schipperke???

We started with bandanas around my dogs neck and now she doesn't go anywhere without it. Then occasionally I'll toss a t-shirt on her and she doesn't seem to mind. The horror story though is what one family went through trying to put a christmas sweater on the dog they only had for a month.

Hi Son, I'm a dog!

That dog looks dapper as fuck in that bow tie.

... Is he single?

No need for that sort of language.
