I love the old clay chimneys in Paris that you can sometimes see on the sides of buildings showing where each chimney leads off to within the wall.

That was never intended to be exposed. There would have been an adjoining building at one time.

They look like roots in soil, gives the building such a unique look

It adds to the aesthetic of the building in a way.

That's so cool

I have always wondered about how chimneys/fireplaces were built and now I know, I am pleased.

Hey, there are a lot of people who take on manual labor because it's the only option their situation currently affords them. It doesn't mean they're stupid — just that they haven't had the opportunity to access the higher education they'd need for more specialized jobs. There are also people whose brains are just fine who take manual labor jobs because they find the repetition relaxing.

The chimney paths looks like creepy out stretched fingers. Cool!

Like the rest of the building.

This makes it super easy if you want to mess with someone.

oohhh look everyone! he's a savant!

Yeah, that's pretty neat.

I just wish my neighbors believed me when I told them this re: the paintings I made of their 13 year old boys. Those were supposed to be surprises that I gave their families for their birthdays, but instead the fathers beat the daylights out of me.

Well, joke’s on them, I kept those paintings in the end, even if they got damaged.
