NEVERMIND I LOVE THIS TRADE

God dammit

lets update the Ohtani money Table:

Giants - capped at 300K

Padres - capped at 300K

Cubs - capped at 300K

Dodgers - capped at 300K

Angels - 2.315M

Rangers - 3.53M

Mariners - 3.55M

Dipoto out here playing 34th dimensional eels and escalators

Goddamn the AL west.

At least we can say, for sure now, fuck the Rangers

If we don't get Ohtani, do we just look for every available international agent and go on a buying spree? What could we get with all this money other than Ohtani?

I LOVED IT ANYWAY BUT I LOVE IT EVEN MORE NOW

some of those former Brave's prospects

💧

ESCALATOR, ESCALATOR, ESCALATOR!

Eeeeeelsssssssss...

hey cut it out you guys

Mariners going full 2014 Padres and winning the off-season.

It's always been fuck the Rangers pal.

I'm not your friend, budday!

Mariners acquire Giancarlo Stanton and another 1 mil in international pool money

its an MLB restriction for going over the pool cap in previous years IFA signing periods.

You better hope you get Ohtani, Mariner fans. Best pitching prospect just dealt in hopes to get him.

I feel like I've been betrayed by a close friend.

OH

FIRE UP THE STOVE BOYS

I think Sam Carlson is our best pitching prospect but he further back since we just drafted him out of HS

... But have zunino

PLOT TWIST OHTANI GIVES BOTH THE ANGELS AND MAIRNERS THE FINGER AND CHOOSES THE SAN DIEGO DADS

TANI

but the best one is gone

THE M'S, THE M'S ARE CALLING!

Mariners trade snack machine to Marlins for $3000 in international pool money.

BOI

SAM CARLSON HYPE TRAIN

Neidert isnt the best imo

Eppler has to strike back

if you spend over your allowed pool money for one year then you must spend only 300K or less per prospect the following 2 years. This is so teams can't just overspend every year because they have more money.

I have a bad feeling about this. This trade indicates Dipoto feels really great about his chances of signing Ohtani. All or nothing at this point.

Why are the NL teams capped at 300K? Not too familiar with International signing pool money

Edit: thanks for the explanations makes sense

Dipoto auctions off dinner-date with Felix for $25 in int'l pool money.

The braves prospects can be signed with this year or next year's money. If they lose out on ohtani it would make perfect sense to use this year's pool.

DEE GORDON WAS JUST THE THROW IN!

Carlson is technically our best pitching prospect, niedart was just closer to the bigs

Ohtani team requirements:

West Coast best coast

DH on my days off so I can get my dong quota

Team sucked last year so I can take credit for the winning

No literal rivers of shit

3/5ths of the AL West:

"HOLD MY BEER"

If he was coming for money, he would have waited two years. That doesn't mean he is completely apathetic when presented with the difference between 300k and 3.5 mil.

I wonder what that could be for

The actual song "Oh Danny Boy"

(The pipes, the pipes are calling)

I might be hyperventilating

It's just a coincidence, all those NL teams went over the limit last year so they are capped at 300k, the AL teams didn't.

Dude look at how Dipoto left the LAA farm system... Does that look like the farm for which plans have back fired on? Come on man.

Mariners better be sure they are getting ohtani or else this going all in plan kinda screws them. Only with ohtani do the mariners become real contenders

At least we Ohtani can say, for sure now, fuck the Rangers

Dipoto >Epstein&Jeter

HOT MOTHERFUCKING STOVE

Rangers need to start a gofundme to get that extra little bit.

Ohtani sweepstakes over folks

There it is
