I started my weight loss in Feb 2014 when I developed heel spurs from being morbidly obese. For the first year I lost 100 pounds by following a low carb diet but not counting calories and lifting weights. I coasted for 2 years, only losing about 30 lbs and going slow to allow my skin to recover. This year I decided to reach my goal of 50% weight loss. I've been low carb, but counting calories to 1500-1600 per day. I got tired of lifting so I take fitness classes at the gym 4-5 days per week (yoga, Zumba, boot camp, and Body works). The most important thing I've learned is to be flexible. There are days when I want to eat unhealthy food, so I'm sure to adjust my portion size, enjoy, and eat healthy the rest of the day. Also, allowing myself to change my workout when I'm bored is a huge help, as long as I do SOMETHING active I don't beat myself up.

I would like to congratulate you on your hard work and amazing success but...but are those toe-socks you are wearing OP?
Ideally I should be about 15-20 lbs less. I'm still deciding if I want to lose more or go back to weight lifting and focus on body fat. Such a fun decision to make!
This sounds similar to me! I'm in the "lost a lot but got a good 30lbs to go still". It's good to see you got there and reminds that you just need to keep going. Wonderful!

That's awesome! We're the same night and your current weight is 5 more than me. What's your goal weight? I was thinking around 115-120 but some people has told me that's unhealthy.
