There is absolutely no way that is only 35 pounds.

Jesus, I'm a girl and this is so boner city.

You went from "Hey, she's cute" to "I would never even bother trying to hit on her".

Well 1 British pound is 1.56291 US dollar ergo she lost about 54.7 US Lbs !

I'm the smallest I've ever b

I like to think the girl on the left ate her before she could finish the sentence.

Work on that confidence and you'll win.

Wetness city for me ;)

Sometimes you get them before you lose any weight at all.

Thanks! I think it has to do with muscle mass. Right now I weigh the same I did a year ago but wear a size or 2 smaller, which I'm assuming has to do with the amount of exercise I've been doing. I seem to be smaller than most girls at my height and weight. I don't what that is. Heavy organs?

But could she count to potato?

how do you deal with stretchmarks?

i knew someone who did this once...

she was as dumb as a retarded door

Without sounding too immature.. lol.. you've got some heavy organs alright :-)

Actually, that was pretty immature. I stand by it 100% though.

I'm pretty active in the weight loss/fitness area of tumblr, but started reading Reddit more and more recently so I thought I'd jump in. Putting my progress out there is a big part of what helps me keep making good choices.

Here's another comparison

In pretty much every weight loss photo comparison I've ever seen in this subreddit, the person looks years younger in the "now" shot. If she was going to fake it, why make it 5 years and 35 lbs? The smile is the same, the cheekbones are the same.. are you suggesting she gained weight and is pretending the reverse for some reason, or that it's two different people? And the length of time as a redditor means nothing. If you're interested in fitness, this is a really easy subreddit to find, and when you're thinking of what to do for your first post, it makes sense to put up an accomplishment and really join a community that's (usually) welcoming and friendly.

And that's how we get ants!

That image got a lot of reblogs, but the source is my tumblr.

This looks so fake! Congrats!

EDIT: In fact, if anything, it looks like the reverse of what you say. The person in the picture on the right looks like a much younger version of the person in the picture on the left. Redditor for one day and the first submission is to a much smaller and specialized subreddit. This just screams fake to me.

Dude ... it was a pun.

Oh you so Creamiii

I'm just going to throw this out there, but she shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to prove to you and some other strangers that she accomplished what she did. I hope she doesn't go and put the logo there to satisfy all you skeptics. If you don't want to feel happy for her, no big deal - she's no worse off because of it.

I started doing distance running (5-7 mile runs) in the spring and that definitely helped changed my body composition a lot. I usually alternate that with elliptical. I also do yoga, some weights, body strength exercises and I live in Manhattan so I typically walk at least an hour a day.

Gain muscle, lose fat. Inches lost, not only pounds.

Well, it was meant as more of a joke than anything, but I'll take the pep-talk. I suppose I could always keep working on it.

Looks like more than 35 lb loss.

I'm sure you beat them off with a stick now. Good job on the loss.

Great job! What'd you do for weight loss?

On the contrary, I have found it to be pretty tasty. /Hannibal Lecter

DAE look at a large girl and imagine what she would look like if she lost the weight. But damn you are a cutie.

There are a lot of Google Image Search results(direct link). That doesn't mean she's fake, but it does up the suspicion level.

Edit: Just read OP response, and I looked through what appears to be her tumblr (don't know if she wants it posted here). It would be really great if OP is really her. The girl on that tumblr looks like she had a great little weight loss journey and she has lots of progress pics as well. The reddit logo posted on that tumblr would be a great form of verification :)

When you know it's via text and that people use all kinds of shortcuts when texting, then yes it makes sense.

I've gone from 122 to 170 with two pregnancies and I'm down to 134 with no stretch marks. It's generics. Some folks are lucky that way.

Durp edit - genetics.

2 or 3?

I'd hate to see what you consider a 1.

Haha no worries. best advise that I can offer is that you treat it like working out: there will be pain and times when you want to give up. But if you push through it, you'll make it.

While making a lot of the other hardworking people here in loseit feel bad about theirs. To put things in perspective, there are people struggling to get to where she was in pic 1. Just show a little respect for everybody here dude.

I'm actually curious about your hair. It looks so much longer and thicker - exactly what I want with mine. Did you do anything special? You look great btw, good job!

-eeeeeen!!!!

Your skepticism is actively degrading my own reddit experience. And nothing hurts someone coming to post for help, support, and to share their progress like people accusing them of lying/fraud.

When it's a post asking for money or a mob, I can completely understand the detective work. But with something like this, even if it was fake, everyone still has the same experience. They explore their empathy, feel happy for a stranger, and build some motivation for themselves. What's wrong with that?

A lot of people don't get them from losing weight... They get them from gaining weight so losing weight slowly doesn't mean anything to those people since they are already there.

Oh! That makes sense then.
