sounds like safe space
Sounds like a padded sanitarium room.
A soundproof scream room, and there should be a button that locks it remotely from the inside. Oh and a brown leather couch.
Those seem like they go together well, right?
How did that get so many upvotes?! 😔
With Test Match Century number 5 Shaun Marsh overtakes Shane Watson's tally of 4.
Also with that successful review he passes Watto's record of 0
Pretty sure Watto has >0 wickets.
Oh yeah? What about his negative wickets?
LOL yeah, nah. That’s full of shit. I’ll tell you why
Note that Shaun Marsh, before this test match had played 24 matches
Ricky Ponting. 24 matches. Average: 38.25
Steve Waugh. 27 matches. Average: 35.4
Justin Langer. 25 matches. Average: 32.65
Michael Clarke. 23 matches. Average: 36.8
Adam Voges. 20 matches. Average: 61.9 DROPPED
These are some of Australia’s greatest batsmen in the last 20-30 years bar Voges. To summarise: yeah, nah.
LOL. Why stop there?
The Sheriff's Department says the man told a deputy that he had "snorted methamphetamine to lose weight" and that he was taking prescribed morphine.
"The meth doesn't make me crazy, man," the Sheriff's Department says the man told the deputy. "The lizard people are real!"
In seriousness though, good job law enforcement for stopping this guy before he caused any real harm.
The man told law enforcement that President Trump had called to warn him.
He said President Trump had called his house in Eatonville, warned about the lizard people and said the "alpha dragon" had taken his family hostage.
good job law enforcement for stopping this guy
Found the lizard person.
Damn. Didn't I just post this?
A (somewhat dated but still) relevant xkcd.
Has global warming sent the lizard men into hibernation or something?
LPT: If you're not looking to spend a lot of money, ask to see a menu BEFORE you sit down in a restaurant. It's not a big deal for you to look it over before you ask to be seated.
Also, keep in mind that if you want to dine in at a sit-down restaurant, to factor in the tip. If you don't want to tip, order for take out.
LPT: Look up the menu online before you leave the house.
Is there a restaurant left in the developed world that doesn't have their menu online?
It's also a good way of deciding what you want before sitting at the table, especially if you have to wait to be seated.
Though, keep in mind some servers are not always ready to immediately begin taking orders. Many times the whole greeting and "can I get you a drink" is their quick filler on their way to dealing with another table.
There are no Blue states... only Blue cities
(Well, if you discount Hawaii)
We are trying mate! New York will come back eventually. Last Republican was Pataki in 2006. We will get it! DTJ?
I stand corrected. I should have looked here:
For the last time, thank you again /r/Philippines
Thank you to the 150+ souls that came and socialized with your fellow redditors! I know it was rough around the edges but I hope you all still had fun. I really can't thank you all enough for attending these year's string of meetups. Here's the album from last night.
Looking back at all the meetups this year, from the shitshow service that was Nipa Hut last April, the jam-packed GRMD, the budots invasion of September, and now to this one. It has been one hell of a year with you guys and I can't thank you enough. All the veteran meetup attendees, the first-timers, the ones who hail from great lengths of the country. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The first time I took on the task as meetup organizer, I thought of it as an opportunity to give back to the people what I gained from attending these meetups back then. I gained a lot of very good friends here on /sub/philippines by going to these meetups and that was what I wanted for you guys to have and I hope you did. What I really did not expect was the sheer number of people that came. I knew there was demand for a meetup, but holy shit you guys were insane. We knew it had to be better come GRMD and by the gods it was fucking epic. You guys are crazy and I can't thank you enough for attending these events.
But for now, I'm gonna have to hang up my gloves as organizer. As much as I love seeing you guys have a good time, it's been taking a toll on my own well-being. Add that to the fact that my faithful organizing partner /u/coffeefiefofum leaving the country soon, it's rough for me to stay in the game.
Now what does this mean for future meetups of /sub/philippines? For now, maybe we'll go back to promoting your guys' own homebrew meetups. If you ever want to set up a meetup and want people to join you, hit us up with your details and we'll try helping you out in any way we can.
I wanna thank you guys again for being present in these shindigs that we set up. The sheer number of your interest in these meetups kept me wanting to do more. Thank you to all my slaves squires very good friends that help me with whatever I need to have these events run smooth. You've all been great help and I appreciate you guys a lot. Thank you to /u/coffeefiefofum especially. She's been a great help in setting these up, we'll miss you dearly when you're gone. Thank you to all the people that are from far-flung places of the country that fly out of their hometowns just to go to one of these, I sincerely hope your trips were worth it.
Thank you guys again for the greatest year of /sub/philippines meetups. 'Til next time!
Thanks for all your efforts, DecayedRamen, we’ll sorely miss those official meetups but of course we understand your priorities. So, good luck with your endeavors!
Hep, hep, HURRAY!
Press "F" for both his meetups and his dick once he finally gets his sex change operation done.
I'm 33 years old and a Redditor for 7 years and last night was my first meetup. I was one of the early birds so I was able to watch people come in and I'm telling you, the phreddit demographic is young. There was a moment that I thought of going home thinking that I'm too old for this shit. I live in QC so I didn't feel that I'm losing anything if I left.
Good thing I stayed. I found a group with newbies and vets. I was not able to roam around but the few people I've met were very memorable and they made me feel young again. It may be the Red Horse but talking to them felt like we've known each other for a long time. There were also some personalities that went table to table to welcome people and I appreciate that. And to be honest, I was starstruck with one. I wanted to tell her that I'm a fan but it's hard to say it without being creepy.
I don't have any real life Redditor friends so to be able to talk to people about reddit drama, especially /sub/ph, was a very great experience. I was able to actually witness the makings of a drama before my very eyes when there was a scuffle outside with some bro and his... lady friend. Anyway, I only met a few and was already blown away. Imagine if you were able to meet more. So thanks to the organizers and to those who accommodated my old introverted ass.
fuck. mamimiss kita ng sobra pare di ko kakayanin pag nawala ka. sana habang buhay ka na lang maging organizer nasasaktan ako tuwing naalala kong mawawala ka na.
I'll never understand people yelling to break it or rip it when someone has a submission. Most of these guys are either not paid or not paid very well.
I just want people to go home uninjured and train the next day.
people are assholes
Wow, that is some killer mission control
Where do you get your news from?
Weekend at Hillary's
I never get tired of that video.
One of the pictures in the article is not Hillary.
Like a side of beef. Both knees instantly.
method man and catnip hehe
That valance rod in the background makes it look like you're smoking a cigarello.
Lol it does
Perhaps it is yelling
