Radiant King Michalis
How long have I been waiting for this rerun. It's only a small step closer to +10 but a step nonetheless. To commemorate the occasion here's an updated build since the last time I did this was before Supports existed. To keep things fresh I suited him with a new kit suggested by /u/kalesklok.
There's really no substitute for Hauteclere and I can't wait to see how it can be enhanced in the weapon refinery. The special acceleration gives Michalis better access to Aether which allows him to remain in QR range longer. While in QR range he performs more actions which leads to faster special procs and the cycle goes on.
Reposition is easily my favorite assist skill. That is all.
While Michalis's defense lets cleave through anything using Ignis, he already fantastic attack so these specials often results in unnecessary overkill. Aether gives him the boost he needs to deal with bulky armour units like BK, and also lets him heal off any damage he has sustained. Aether is especially useful for TT since it lets Michalis reliably tank for 7 battles, but the score boost it provides for Arena is also worth considering.
A Slot: Heavy Blade
Distant Counter is his ideal A slot skill, but there are times when Michalis doesn't need to face ranged foes very often. Now that there's a mage flier of every colour, having 4 units on a team who can counter at range isn't required. In these times Michalis can choose one of many skills to replace it with, and Heavy Blade is one such skill. With his high attack stat, and the ability to perform follow-ups with QR, Michalis will have the opportunity to active Heavy Blade often, and the faster he builds special charge the more he can heal to remain in QR range. With this combination of skills, no melee opponent poses any sort of threat to Michalis besides those pesky little TA dragons.
B Slot: Quick Riposte
High def and attack with low speed makes Michalis an ideal candidate for this skill. With that in mind, various bonuses from Summoner Support and merges put his speed at a respectable 29 (35 when hone buffed and up to 41 with full support). This lets Michalis avoid being doubled by important which adds to his survivability. Of course, being doubled isn't awful either since it means he procs Aether faster.
C Slot: Hone Fliers
These skills are always flexible but I feel like Michalis is still one of the strongest candidates for distributing the Hone Fliers buff. While he doesn't mind having extra attack and speed, that's not as useful as receiving a Fortify buff instead. This lets Michalis support units who rely more on the offensive boost like S!Corrin, H!Nowi, and Elincia. Personally, I like having 2 Hones on my main team but it depends on how many mages I'm using.
Seal: Quickened Pulse
Since special acceleration is the theme of this build, QP is a good way to round it off. With a 3 CD Aether at the start of the battle, Michalis can reliably proc the special on his first engagement which usually ensures an enemy is felled. A good alternative is Close Def which I have yet to obtain but will upgrade quickly since I love my tanks <3
Ally Support: S!Corrin
I currently have Michalis supported to Corrin since she can deal with any red mages that threaten him. She loves getting Hone from him, and her innate Fortify is equally appreciated.
Updated version of my primary build for him. I often run Aether as his main special since it benefits him in Arena and TT and as I mentioned earlier Ignis tends to be overkill, but in the end, both have their pros and cons.
Thanks for reading! I hope to see more Michalis builds popping up as newer players get their hands on him but try not to keep your hands on him too long since he doesn't like being touched.
Some might even say .
To me, Michalis already feels extremely strong as a unit. His default Hauteclere doesn't hinder him compared to weapons like Parthia so any additional effect will be appreciated, no matter how small. I think the absolute best for him would be built in DC, but that's also unrealistic. Taking into account other weapons currently in the game, I would love to see Hauteclere gain an effect like Urvan that reduces damage taken. +10 damage on special activation would also be crazy good. As for what I actually expect, Renewal seems most likely and would be useful for keeping him in QR range.
Aside from silly gimmicks like Obstruct there's not much I wouldn't be happy with. Even if the additional effect isn't worth it, just being able to refine Hauteclere for additional speed would be a huge deal for him.
What upgrades do you want to see on Hauteclere? People are speculating renewal which would fit his bulky playstyle but as we also saw in the stream preview we could spec out of the specific skill in favor of more stats.
implying that /sub/gaming was alive at any point in history nah.
Holy hell, you guys are killing /sub/gaming with this shit
What game should I buy next?
Looking for a new game to buy for the PS4. Was thinking South Park The Fractured But Whole or Assassin's Creed Origins but wasn't really sure. Open to suggestions from anyone here. Usually open to most games
Will it give me the sense of pride and fulfillment I look for in a game though?
Star wars battlefront II
Between the two, South Park.
Save for monster hunter
Wolfeinstein 2 is a great FPS
He would probably just browse Reddit all day.
Note: We can also put our positive sides.
Can you guys stop?
I'm trying to get to the Fanatec website to pick up my CSL bundle but I keep getting 404'd from too much traffic. Let's slow down and do this in an orderly fashion, one website request at a time please.
I'm seeing a Sophos error now.
EDIT: 40 minutes later, the site is somewhat passable right now, but the discounts are not showing up at all. I got everything in my cart and got through most of the checkout process, but they were still showing the original price while asking me for a credit card. The deal is either still not live, or the stock they're willing to discount have already sold out...?
EDIT 2: Ok NOW I'm seeing the discount. Let's see if I can brute force their site through the checkout process and actually place a goddamn order.
EDIT 3: I give up. The payments are timing out, but they've actually charged my card. I'm going to bed until the banks open. Maybe by then Fanatec will have their shit together.
And now there’s a privacy error. Wtf fanatec
Edit: I got back into the US store but rn it’s not responding
Update #2: back in the US site but the elite wheel isn’t discounted
And finally Update #3: website finally is stabilizing but discount isn’t showing up
Final one I promise! Now it’s active
They’ve charged my card but I haven’t seen anything
And I'm just here happy with purchasing my G29, lmao.
Should i get Shadow of War or Rise of the Tomb Raider
Title- funnily enough I never got around to playing RotTR but they're on sale right now at roughly the same price so which one of the above should I pick up?
Edit: OK thanks for the help guys I decided to go with Tomb Raider
rise of the shadow of tomb raider
Id say tomb raider.
